This acrylic painting captures the serene yet powerful image of a whale slowly swimming away, its massive tail the only part visible as its body fades into the deep. The underwater view contrasts a busy, turbulent surface seen from below, with sunrays piercing through the water, gently illuminating the whale’s path. The calmness of the deep ocean contrasts with the activity above, symbolizing the peaceful world beneath. The composition and lighting evoke a sense of mystery and tranquility, inviting viewers to reflect on the hidden, quieter realms of nature often unseen. 
This painting was the cornerstone and most popular work of art in my 2024 solo exhibit in Neepawa, MB.
