First painting of 2026!
Leap & Bloom depicts a horse in mid-motion, its form interwoven with florals in soft blue and green tones. The sense of movement suggests a moment of decision — a step forward taken with focus and trust, captured just as the body commits to the leap. The painting is inspired by the idea that courage comes before change. We are rarely fully ready when growth begins; often, the choice to move forward has to come first. Like the florals emerging from the horse’s form, transformation unfolds along the way — not all at once, but through motion and momentum. A well-known quote by Anaïs Nin reflects this moment perfectly: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” Leap & Bloom is a reminder to lead with your heart, even when certainty is absent — and to trust that growth has a way of meeting us once we step beyond what feels safe.
